The Puffin 42 is steadily coming together, with progress visible throughout the yacht.
The wheelhouse is under construction, while interior work continues in the saloon and cabins. Wall panelling is being installed, and the bathroom and toilet areas are moving ahead with timberwork, tank installations, and final fittings. The chart table has been placed, and one of her classic portholes has been fitted. Many of the cabinets have been built and are ready to be placed.
On deck, the winches are now in place, and SDH will be fitting the anchor winch. The centreboard has also been made and is ready to be installed.
Meanwhile, Jongkind is progressing on the technical systems. Wiring has been installed, systems are being connected, and anti-condensation coating has been applied in the engine room.
This Puffin is beginning to show her character more and more, both inside and out. We’ll be sharing more soon!
