Last week our Puffin 42 hit the water for the first time. After months of building and finishing, she is currently moored alongside our yard in the centre of Enkhuizen. This is where she is now going through the final phase of rig installation and completing the last details on board.
With her bare aluminium hull, white painted superstructure and the distinctive, tough looking bimini / solar arch, the Puffin 42 already shows the strong explorer character she was designed for.
Once the rigging is in place and the final systems checks are completed, she will be ready for her first sea trials.
This Puffin 42 represents the next step for Puffin Yachts, built by VMG Yachtbuilders.
