Things are moving forward on the Puffin 42. This Friday and Saturday, the deck will be placed, which is a major step in the build. Preparations for this have already been made: the winches are positioned, and the spacer rings will be loosely fitted before the weekend. The solar arch, made by SDH, has also been installed.
Inside, the yacht is also taking shape. The subfloor has been installed, and the saloon bench is now in place. The upper cabinets, guest cabin wardrobe and wall panels are all ready for installation.
On the technical side, Jongkind has been making solid progress. Wiring and tubing have been installed, tanks are in place, and the engine has been mounted. Cabling for lighting and switch panels is already routed through the walls.
With work progressing on both the interior and exterior, the Puffin 42 is clearly entering her next phase. More updates are coming soon, so stay tuned!
