Puffin® yachts are designed by Olivier van Meer and always built by VMG Yachtbuilders in Enkhuizen, the Netherlands. Puffin® yachts are built according to the highest quality standards to provide safety and comfort during long distance sailing and onboard living. Puffin® yachts are made to be sailed by a short-handed crew. They are equipped with either a retractable centerboard, which enables cruising in shallow waters, or a normal keel, which may be preferred for long distance ocean cruising.
The building of a new Puffin® yacht is always a project in which the client, designer and builder closely work together. We start with the standard specs and the outspoken characteristics like the bowsprit, window shape, slightly negative stern and tumble home. All of these details together guarantee excellent sailing characteristics and its sturdy, classic looks. Apart from that anything is open for discussion with the designer. As a logical result every Puffin® yacht is different and unique in its kind.
We can build you a Puffin® yacht in bare aluminum with a workboat look and an 8-person interior or with a full teak deck, the hull sprayed in your favorite colour and a beautiful oak interior. In a Puffin® yacht everything is possible.
